DESPITE continuous cancellations of country shows and events due to COVID-19 restrictions, the Eyre Peninsula Field Days, at Cleve, are attracting thousands of visitors and offering a range of things to check out.
About 500 sites are featured at the event, as well as sheep dog and shearing demonstrations and senior wool judging competitions.
New for the 2022 event is artwork from Peter Crosby, while Artyculture and fashion parades will also return.
EPFD president Geoff Bammann said he was excited to welcome people back to the field days.
"After having had to cancel due to COVID in 2020 it is good to return to some form of normality," he said.
"As you will notice some exhibitors have not returned but there are also some new ones - a lot can happen in four years.
"The world is a little different to what it was, however life goes on and we need to enjoy it and appreciate that which we have."
Stock Journal's KATIE JACKSON and KIARA STACEY were on the ground today mingling with the crowd.
