
Australia has been on high alert since news of a foot and mouth outbreak in Indonesia, including on Bali - a major tourist destination for Australian travellers.
In the week's since, the federal government has been working to build up its biosecurity barriers, while also investing in vaccines to help Indonesia to get its outbreak under control.

But reports out of Indonesia show there are still issues in accessing vital resources.
Farmers on the ground say there was little information, which allowed the spread to continue. On the other hand, some farmers are confident the crisis has passed.
Back in Australia, farmers have expressed concerns about the information being shared, saying they want to hear more about the "unknown" experience in Indonesia.
