The poster-sized rural community illustration is available online and in print in this week's Stock Journal during National Farm Safety Week (July 18-24), with eight to 14-year-olds encouraged to sharpen their pencils, and power-up their pens to be in the chance to win a gift card prize.
#PlantASeedForSafety founder Alex Thomas said they hoped to challenge the stereotypes surrounding the topic of health and safety, to gamify what good health and safety looks like in the context of rural communities, and bring that conversation to life at the kitchen tables of rural households all over Australia.

Syngenta's Managing Director and Country Head for ANZ, Paul Luxton said the scenes depicted in the colouring-in competition were great reminders of important practices that will help keep friends and families in rural communities safe and healthy.
"National Farm Safety Week is also a good time to remember to read our agchem product labels and Safety Data Sheets that provide information on safe storage, transport, use and disposal," he said.
To enter the competition, get your copy of the July 21 edition of Stock Journal or head to plantaseedforsafety.com/comp to download a digital copy and start colouring, count the #PlantASeedForSafety shovels hidden in the rural scene and in 50 words or less, tell us why the health and safety of family and friends is so important.
The competition closes on September 30.
