Following the 2021 cancellation of the event due to Covid restrictions, South East Stud Merino Breeders Association president Matt Fiebig said it was exciting to see up to 450 people, plus breeders and exhibitors, file through the gates.
"It was exciting to have the event back after last year's was cancelled due to Covid," he said.
"Unfortunately, we still had a couple of studs missing as a result of Covid.
"It was great to be able to hold such a big event and have it well supported by commercial producers, studs and industry relevant companies."

Mr Fiebig said most stud breeders were fairly optimistic about the upcoming selling season.
"There's a few moving parts in the industry at the moment, internationally and domestically," he said.
"General (sheep) prices have softened a bit in recent months, but are still are at relatively high levels on a ten-year average so I think most people are positive without being over-the-top."
Stock Journal's MARK SCOWN, CATHERINE MILLER, LIAM WORMALD and QUINTON McCALLUM were there to take social and stud display photos.
