LAMBS were $5-$15 dearer than last market at the Ouyen Livestock Exchange yesterday, while mutton was $5-$10 dearer.
Overall, 4189 lambs and 401 mutton were offered, totalling 4590.
Export crossbred lambs sold from $210 to $256 or $7.50 a kilogram to $8/kg, while trade types made $146-$196 ($7.80-$8.20/kg).
D&J Jonasson, Cowangie, sold the $256 top price lambs with 30 head, while Waymel, Ouyen, sold 50 crossbred lambs at $251.
Andersons at Bronzewing sold 64 crossbred lambs at $244 and another 47 at $235, plus 36 mutton at $195.
J&P Heaslip, Ouyen, sold 29 crossbred lambs at $240, while F&L Latta, Walpeup, sold 26 also at $240.
Heavy Merino lambs sold from $189-$241 ($7.30-$7.80/kg), while light Merinos made $70-$180 ($7.30-$7.60/kg).

Stony View Farms, Patchewollock, sold 38 Merinos to the $241 top, while N&R Monaghan, Tempy, sold 113 at $232.
PD&LM Symonds, Loxton, sold 17 Merino lambs at $226, while Erhardt Partners, Galah, sold 33 at $215.
CC Cooper & Co, Broken Hill, sold 89 Merino lambs at $214, plus 74 mutton at $204.
Heavy mutton sold from $188-$210 ($6-$6.90/kg), while lighter types made $104-$168 ($5.80-$6.50/kg).
Minda Props, Pooncarie, sold the top mutton with 19 at $210, plus 57 crossbred lambs at $220.
Dorper lambs were also offered, with Alex McLeod, Coombah, selling 26 at $220; Flagstaff Farms, Merrinee, selling 55 also at $220; and M Crozier, Wentworth, selling 57 at $214.
