When the South Australian government announced its 2022-23 Budget earlier this year, there were several plans to save costs, including by trimming the funding assigned to several departments deemed not "frontline services".
This includes PIRSA.
At an Estimates Committee meeting, Primary Industries and Regional Development Minister Clare Scriven revealed a number of high level executive positions would be cut to create these savings.
This move is part of a plan expected to save nearly $4 million in the first year.
