The hunt is on for livestock producers with the skills, networks and passion to nominate for the Livestock SA Board and assist in guiding implementation of its new strategic plan.
Livestock SA has five board positions becoming vacant at the next annual general meeting, to be held on Monday 29 August 2022, in conjunction with the Growing SA Conference.

Livestock SA chief executive officer Travis Tobin encouraged members to consider nominating because the Board represented a great opportunity for producers to contribute to their industry and drive its future.
"For experienced industry leaders, it is a chance to give back to the industry," he said.
For emerging leaders, it is an excellent opportunity to gain a greater understanding of industry-government relations, how Livestock SA works in advocating for them and, at a personal level, continue developing their leadership and governance skills.
"I encourage all Livestock SA members who are passionate about their industry and believe they have something to offer to throw their hat in the ring."
