PATRONS from far and wide flocked to Broken Hill this week to celebrate the return of Agfair.
After a four year hiatus, the much-loved industry event was back on at its home at the Broken Hill Racecourse on Thursday with visitors and exhibitors from across the country welcoming it back.

The event was cancelled in 2020 due to the pandemic, and although there was hope it would be back in 2021, crowds finally saw its return this year.
With the region receiving healthy rainfall in recent weeks, the grounds were green and despite winter fast approaching, the sun was out in full force.
Highlights of day one included Adrian Harry's Xtreme Trials Show and the Nutrien Agfair Dorper Ram sale which saw a total of 18 rams from three different studs go under the hammer.
Check back tomorrow for a wrap-up of day two of the event.
