THIS month's store sale at Naracoorte yarded about 1000 cattle and with demand for quality steers high, the sale reached a top of $3150.
Telfer Trading Trust offered a pen of eight Angus steers that weighed 533 kilograms and made $3150.
The December 2020-drops were sold by PPH&S.
Kyby Supporters - Ex Chris McBain, made $2980 for eight, May/June 2021-drop Angus steers.
They averaged 523kg and sold to JF Livestock.
Chris McBain made $2867 for four, Angus May/June 2020-drops, averaging 503kg, to Teys Australia - Charlton.
BS&SL Skeer made $2950 for eight, European-Union accredited Nampara/Wrattenbullie-blood steers that sold to JF Livestock.
The February/March 2021/drop steers averaged 538kg.
Landscape Beef made $2820 for 16, Angus steers. The August/September 2020-drops averaged 440kg and sold to Thomas Foods International.
Heifers also sold with solid competition, with Engler Enterprises making $2638 for nine, Angus EU heifers.
The run averaged 543kg and sold to Thomas Foods International.
