Stock Journal editor Elizabeth Anderson said it was a significant milestone in the history of a paper that has served farmers in South Australia since 1904.
"Until now, our readers have enjoyed free access to our online content and we have seen significant growth in that audience overtime," Ms Anderson said.
"That tells us that the way our audience consumes news is shifting.
"Importantly, our commitment to print is not changing and those that want to receive their printed version of Stock Journal each week can continue to do so. This offer will not impact our print readers."
