The guide has been developed to assist professional advisers when navigating the complex tax and business environment challenging agribusiness operators across industries.
Cowell Clarke director and head of agribusiness legal practice Peter Siegers said it was an essential guide for any professional agribusiness adviser from accountants and financial advisers to consultants, chief financial officers and corporate managers.
"This important resource contains real case studies that bring to life the key issues primary producers are facing," he said.
"For example, it contains helpful strategies for structuring succession plans so a farmer can have real peace of mind and the next generation can transition with certainty."
Agribusiness advisers can access practical advice and guidance that is easy to understand on a range of key issues including strategic agribusiness acquisitions and sales; inter-generational succession planning; tax structuring for viticulture and commercial fishing industries; and capital gains tax regarding the sale of a water licence.
