The sun was shining as bright as the stud cattle on display in SA's Mid North for day one of the Stock Journal Beef Week with three studs - all carrying different breeds - welcoming many potential buyers to view what they had on offer.
Studs from Boconnoc Park, Allendale North and Auburn opened their gates to let visitors view their finest bulls, heifers and cows.

For the first time, Redwood Range Speckle stud, Auburn, joined in on the fun - co-principals Krystal and Mick Lines were pleased with the support from new potential clients and the interest in their stud.
There will be 50 studs representing 12 different breeds across the four days.
The Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Loxton areas on Sunday, February 6, Lower South East studs will be open Monday, February 7, and the Upper South East will complete Beef Week on Tuesday, February 8. Studs will be open from 9am until 5pm for inspections.
