IN July of 1999 livestock studs were making their final picks ahead of the Royal Adelaide Show and approaching ram sale season.

There was a lot of action in the way of livestock markets with the Adelaide Plains Livestock Exchange opening their doors and T&R taking over ownership of the Murray Bridge abattoir.

It was also the season for many annual general meeting gatherings and conferences.

SA Co-operative Bulk Handling added marketing and trading grain to their business plans.

The Coomandook area celebrated their 1999 debutantes and further in the South East the Elders South East Merino Field Days were held.
