In December 2010 some farmers suffered crop damage from a heavy summer rainfall but the rain did not stop community events going ahead like the Spalding rodeo.

Australian Grain Technologies also held it's crop trial field day at Roseworthy, an Urrbrae Agricultural High School teacher was farewelled after 32 years of service and Max Roberts was re-elected as Dairy Australia chairman at the annual general meeting in 2010.
