Stock Journal looks back to August 1978, when roads were cut off due to heavy rains on top of a wet few months, the Crystal Brook show attracted a crowd, and people from across the EP flocked to the biennial field days at Cleve.
Many were also in preparation mode for the Royal Adelaide Show.
