In September 1964, the Royal Adelaide Show was probably the biggest event on the agriculture calendar, as country folk flocked to the showgrounds to see elite sheep.
A world record price was made for a Collinsville ram while it was also a big year for livestock markets with the pork industry in particular gaining a lot of attention.
