WATER security will be on the agenda at a forum hosted by the Barossa Improved Grazing Group and the Angaston Agricultural Bureau next month.
The evening event, on Tuesday, November 9, will allow producers and project managers to guage industry demand for water, including water volumes, quality and identifying a price that is economically and financially viable to deliver.
The Barossa New Water Project, led by PIRSA, is aiming to deliver new, secure and affordable water to properties in the Barossa Valley.
The federal government has recently also announced $1 million towards funding an additional detailed business case for the Eden Valley region.
Kellogg Brown and Root Pty Ltd have been engaged as the advisor to develop the Barossa project into a detailed business case.
Barossa Grape Wine Association has also been engaged to conduct a number of community sessions and engagement.
The meeting with be a chance to meet with representatives of PIRSA, BKR and BGWA.

BIGG water coordinator Jane Evans said they were holding this event to allow those who were unable to attend the first round of community consultation meetings to find out more and have their input.
"BIGG are welcoming all rural producers, particularly graziers, to consider attending this meeting," she said.
"It is being held after hours to try to make maximum attendance possible, due to the busy working days of our rural producers."
The graziers and rural producers Barossa New Water Project forum will be held at the Zion Church Hall, 85 Murray Street, Angaston, from 7.30pm on November 9.
