BALMAR White Suffolk stud held its 6th on-property sale at Barunga Gap on Tuesday this week and it reached a top of $1650, two times.
The Ebsary family offered 45 White Suffolk rams and sold 44, to a top pf $1650, averaging $964.
Lot number one was first under the hammer at $1650.
The twin had post-weaning value of PW weight of 15.6, WWT of 10.7, -0.7 for fat, eye muscle depth of 1.1.
It weight 130 kilograms with a Carcase Plus index of 137.3.
The second $1650 ram had a 13.8 PWWT, 9.1 WWT, -0.3 fat and 1.1EMD.
It weighed 115kg with a CP Index of 133.9.
Liaway Pty Ltd bought 11 rams including one of the $1650 top price rams and Kuruman Pastoral Co bought 17 Rams to $1100 and JM&KF Brittain, five rams to $1100.
A total of ten registered bidders attended from Yorke Peninsula, Adelaide Plains, Adelaide Hills & Kangaroo Island.
