EXTRA heavy export lambs were firm to $10 cheaper at the Ouyen Livestock Exchange in Vic today, while heavy trade and trade lambs were $5-$8 dearer.
Overall, 6567 lambs and 1647 mutton were offered, totalling 8214.
Export lambs sold from $220-$252 or $6.80 a kilogram to $7.80/kg; trade types made $162-$223 ($7.40- $8/kg) while store lambs made $61-$176.
BS Finch, Lameroo, sold 26 crossbred lambs at $254.5, while Brown Farms, Underbool, Vic, sold 109 at $252 and 54 at $240; and Brown Ag, Underbool, sold 84 at $250.
All selling crossbred lambs at $246 were A&N Hulland, Patchewollock, Vic, with 151 head; T&S Monaghan, Tempy, Vic, sold 41; and
D&J Goldsmith, Yarrara, Vic, also sold 84 head at $246, another 37 at $240, and 40 Merino lambs for $226.
Cureton Pastoral, Mildura, Vic, sold 31 crossbred lambs at $245; K&P Kelly, Werrimull, Vic, sold 60 at $243; and J&P Heaslip, Ouyen, sold 24 at $242.

Heavy Merinos sold from $187-$240 ($7.10-$7.60/kg), while lighter types made $80-$187 ($7.60-$7.80/kg).
Wegner Bros, Karoonda, sold 115 Merino lambs at $223, while Mallee View Props, Galga, sold 36 at $218.
Heavy mutton sold from $188-$260 ($6-$6.80/kg), while light mutton made $100-$188 ($6.70-$7/kg).
M&M Farms, Carwarp, Vic, sold 24 mutton at $260, while NK&NB&PM Pfeiffer, Parrakie, sold 95 for $230.
D&S Mole, Patchewollock, sold 28 mutton at $228, while Erhardt Partners, Galah, sold 33 at $200.
Dorper lambs were also offered.
MR&BL King, Pomona, sold 22 Dorpers at $208, while MGN Gibbins, Galah, Vic, sold 36 at $205.
