Livestock producers are being invited to attend a Barossa Improved Grazing Group soil health and grazing workshop, to be held on June 1.
The day will kick off with a presentation delivered by internationally-renowned and highly-respected groundcover and soils ecologist Dr Christine Jones, at Stockwell.
Dr Jones has a wealth of experience working with innovative landholders across the globe and implementing regenerative land management practices.
Specifically, Dr Jones will focus on how soil health can be improved and stimulated through grazing. She will also provide inside into unlocking soil P, and provide information on alternative animal health products and improving organic matter in lower rainfall environments.

Following the presentation, workshop participants will visit two local grazing properties - one which has been implementing polycultures for nearly 10 years, and one which is just starting out.
