WILD winds, increased fire danger and the chance of some rainfall are expected across the next few days, with the Bureau of Meteorology sharing a warning for tomorrow (Tuesday).
Meteorologist Bonnie Haselgrove said "very windy" conditions were expected across most of SA tomorrow, with north-easterly to north-westerly winds ahead of a change later in the day.
She said the heaviest impacted regions would be the Eyre Penininsula and Fleurieu Peninsula, with winds from 40 kilometres an hour to 60km/h from dawn to mid-afternoon.
Ms Haselgrove said with little rainfall in recent weeks, the soil was quite dry, which meant increased potential for raised dust, especially in the northern agriculture area and southern pastoral districts.
"We are expecting elevated fire danger for most districts, with severe fire dangers in nine districts across SA and this is being reviewed," she said.
With school holidays under way, Ms Haselgrove said there might be increased boat activity and a gale force warning had been issued for most coastal regions, stretching through until Wednesday.
A change is anticipated to come through Tuesday afternoon, which may bring a small amount of rain.
"We will see showers extend across agricultural areas and the western part of the the state but we're likely to see less than 5 millimetres falling," she said.
