LAMBS were $5 to $10 cheaper, while mutton held firm at the Ouyen Livestock Exchange in Vic on Thursday.
Overall, 7081 lambs and 1794 mutton were offered, totalling 8875.
Crossbred lambs sold to $265, for 91 head from MG Lynch, Morkalla.
Vulture's Flat, Tyenna, sold 119 crossbred lambs at $260, while D&J Goldsmith, Yararra, sold 71 head at $258.
Export lambs sold from $200 to $265, or $7.60-$7.90/kg; trade types made $156-$206 ($7.60-$8.40/kg); while store lambs sold from $112-$170.
HJ&PD Ferguson, Walpeup, sold 75 crossbred lambs at $248, as did PE Kay, Ouyen, with 25 head at $248.
J Hahnel Nominees, Timberoo, sold 124 crossbred lambs at $240, while Wegner Bros, Karoonda, sold 66 at $237.
G Vine, Ouyen, sold 28 crossbred lambs at $237, while G&P Burns, Tempy, sold 50 at $234.

Heavy Merinos also sold to $265 ($7.40-$7.80/kg), while light Merino lambs made $125-$190 ($7.40-$7.90/kg).
D Dutschke, Karoonda, sold the top Merinos at $265 for 79 head, and another 41 at $255, while Wegner Bros sold 80 at $260.
J Hahnel sold 66 Merinos at $255, while Lynch Ag, Underbool, sold 86 at $240.
Heavy mutton sold from $200-$255 ($5.50-$5.90/kg), while light types made $105-$160 ($5.50-$6.10/kg).
M&V Simmons, Red Cliffs, sold 23 mutton at $255, while A&N Hulland, Patchewollock, sold 76 at $246.
DW&DP Docking, Karoonda, sold 23 mutton at $222, while M Pohlner, Kiamal, sold 30 at $210.
Dorper lambs were also offered, with Flagstaff Farms, Merrinee, selling 57 at $225; TD Inglis, Pinnaroo, selling 26 at $204 and P&B Ireland, Pinnaroo, sold 20 at $196.
