Pork SA held its annual Pig Industry Day on Friday last week at the Barossa Weintal at Tanunda, with some of the state's largest producers and well-known researchers attending the event.
The seminar program had speakers from across all of industry, providing attendees with a plethora of information.
Speakers included Australian Pork Limited's chief executive officer Margo Andrae, Biosecurity SA Emma Rooke, Sunpork's Kate Plush and Danni Glencorse, and APL's Bec Athorn and Rachael Bryant.
Topics included behavioural enrichment strategies, husbandry update, feed costs and options, Sabor biosecurity investment, African Swine Fever diagnostics, Management of shoulder ulcers in sows and Post-Cervical Artificial Insemination.
