The Barossa Improved Grazing Group welcomed livestock producers from across the Barossa region and Mid North to its Grow 21 conference on Thursday at Nuriootpa, offering producers a chance to hear from some inspirational stories.

The lineup included speakers with a wealth of localised and international experiences, and included Thomas Foods International national livestock manager Paul Leonard, SA Cattle Co's Tim Burvill and Jamestown mixed farmer Luke Clarke.

The conference also offered attendees an opportunity to view a trade display and have their water quality tested.

Water management and security was also a hot topic, with a panel of producers, Dale Button, Robertstown, Michael Evans, Angaston, and Peter Mitchell, Angaston, discussing on-farm projects to help improve water management on their farms.
