IT IS just a short jump back this week but 10 years ago, there were a lot of decisions being made that we still see the effects from today.
The dairy industry was reeling from a decision by supermarkets to sell milk for $1 a litre; irrigators were concerned about low allocations, even as large flows were seen down the River Murray; croppers were cheering after a massive harvest - for some a "best ever"; while lamb prices hit record levels.
As always, February also had plenty of beef, between the field days and bull sales.
