Cattle studs across the Mid North and Yorke Peninsula opened their gates to commercial and stud producers on the first day of 2020 Stock Journal Beef Week.
Studs from Winulta, Jamestown, Clare and Kapunda were part of the event, showcasing bulls, heifers, cows and steers.
Stud principals were pleased with the level of interest shown throughout the day, with genuine interest shown from clients, leading to a number of sales.
Many new faces made appearances at the studs, while repeat clients were also a strong buying force.

Across four days, 55 studs from across the state participated in 2020 Beef Week, with a total of 13 breeds being showcased by producers.
