IT has been a big year for saleyards.
Not only did they bear the brunt of some tough COVID restrictions - first in March, then again in November - they also dealt with the uncertainty of a global and domestic marketing where processing capacity was uncertain.
But despite all the tricky times, prices continue to impress, with records falling in multiple categories across sheep, lamb and cattle.
Once people were allowed out to the markets again, it did return to becoming an important hub - a place to have contact with fellow farmers, as well as watch the prices in anticipation of buying or selling.
So, after a massive year in the state's livestock markets, here is a massive collection of photographs from this year's sales.
