THE 2020 cropping season started off well, with good opening rains across most districts, before hitting a dry July speed hump.
But follow up falls came in winter and headers have since rolled across the state, throwing up some of the best yields since the bumper 2016 harvest.
Over the past year, Stock Journal has visited croppers doing some interesting things on-farm and at research sites, from unique equipment to new varieties and weed management to soil amelioration.
