Flicking back through this gallery, there is a reminder of just how many inspirational and hard-working people their are in SA, with several of these highlighted this year.
While getting to all the areas of the state we'd like to is a tricky prospect in any year, it has been made even more difficult in 2020.
More than ever, we've had to rely on photographs sent in from our subjects.
Often we don't know the photograph we want until we see the landscape and the person, so explaining what we need down the phone has its limitations.
So our compliments and gratitude goes out to all our willing posers and the family members, friends and other acquaintances they have roped in to take photos to go with our stories this year.
