CADNITE Poll Dorset stud eclipsed its previous best price at its 20th annual sale at Wild Dog Valley on October 7, with rams selling to $1900.
Cadnite 259/19 - a twin born ram sired by Ulandi 58/15 - made the top money to LS Johnson, Springbank, Wild Dog Valley.
The sale average was slightly down on last year, but a higher clearance was achieved with another 15 rams sold.
Six new clients featured on the buyers' list.

Vendors Arnie, Ruth and Bernie Pfitzner were pleased with the sale result and the continued success of their client base.
Cadnite's focus on commercial relevance has paid off for long-term clients Andrew and Kristin Barber, who set a new Horsham, Vic, saleyard record with lambs selling to $375 a head in March.
TDC Penola were the selling agents, with Matt Treglown and Hayden Lambert at the rostrum. TDC's Sam Hill organised the sale.
