Guest speakers also offered an insight into some of the latest research and practical tools for graziers to increase lamb production.
University of Adelaide Davies Livestock Research Centre guest speaker Forbes Brien discussed how to wean more lambs from ewes by retaining older ewes that have proven performance and culling 'passengers', regardless of their age.
University of Adelaide intensive livestock lecturer William van Wettere offered interesting data on the use of melatonin implants to help with better twin survival, while Achieve Ag's Nathan Scott spoke about Sheep eID and its long term benefits for producers.
