Men's Sheds across the state are invited to apply for the latest round of funding from the National Men's Shed Development Program.
This bout of funding is the 21st round since the program's inception in 2013, with the first 20 rounds having provided more than $5.4 million in support.
The 21st round will look to prioritise applications involving IT equipment and training, to facilitate increased connectivity among Men's Shed participants.
Financial support is available across the following funding categories:
- Health, wellbeing, and events: $8000 maximum
- Shed improvements: $8000 maximum
- Equipment $5000 maximum
Federal Member for Grey Rowan Ramsey encouraged all Men's Sheds to apply for funding.
"Now more than ever, Men's Sheds are offering a critical avenue for social support and engagement," he said.
"To stay healthy, we all need regular activities and to interact with people around us, and our local Men's Sheds have become a focal point for regional communities.
