AT the 14th annual Hillview Dohne ram sale recently, Heather and Robert Holmes cleared all 65 rams offered to a top of $4000, with an overall average of $1587 - a lift of $96 from the previous year.

All rams were paddock reared and were a well presented even line with mostly returning buyers attending the sale.

The 96-kilogram, 19.8-micron top ram boasted a fleece weight of 16.1, index of 172, yield 60.1 and a comfort factor of 98.6 per cent.
