Snow falls in Flinders Ranges.

IT was a surprising site at Skytrek Willow Springs Station this morning when they woke up to a blanket of snow covering the region.

The location between Blinman and Hawker, near Wilpena Pound, has had snow before, but not this much, according to owner Michelle Reynolds.

"We last saw snow in 2011, out on the peaks and very patchy," she said.

"We've never seen it here at the house - it's absolutely incredible."

Ms Reynolds said the snow is already starting to lift but they did find time to attempt a snowman.

"Some of us had never seen snow, so to experience that at home is incredible," she said.
