Trade lambs rose $5 to $10 at the Ouyen Livestock Exchange in Vic on Thursday, while heavy lambs were firm to $5 dearer.
Export crossbred lambs ranged from $224 to $284 - or $7.70 a kilogram to $9.20/kg.
Trade crossbreds sold in the $170-$238 range, or $8.50-$9.80, while store crossbred lambs returned $79-$200 or $9-$11/kg.
Topping the market at $284 was MG Lynch, Morkalla, Vic, with 77 crossbred lambs. MG Lynch also had a further 38 at $275.
Just a dollar behind was Andersons of Bronzewing, Bronzewing, Vic, which sold 112 at $283.
Cureton Pastoral, Mildura, Vic, made $280 for a line of 80 crossbred lambs, as well as $275 for a further 94.
T&S Monaghan, Tempy, Vic, sold 44 at $280, and IR Arney, Werrimull, Vic, sold 115 at $278.
Making $276 for their lambs were ALB Farms, Tempy, with 59 and N&F Hamilton, Ouyen, who sold 35.
Other vendors to make $270 or more for crossbred lambs were W Schultz, Mittyack, Vic, who sold 23 at $273, D&J Goldsmith, Yarrara, Vic, with 147 at $272, A&N Hulland, Patchewollock, Vic, with 64 at $272, and Hunt Pastoral, Meringur, Vic, with 55 also at $272.
G&P Burns, Tempy, sold 40 crossbred lambs $266, B Mole, Tempy, sold 76 at $262, and Clarke Brothers, Ouyen, sold 162 at $255.
The Merino lamb section was also topped by MG Lynch, with 142 at $242.
Prices for heavy Merino lambs ranged from $187 to $242, or $7.70-$8.20/kg, while lighter Merinos made $150-$180 or $7.80-$8.60/kg.
J&L Pryse, Torrita, sold 44 Merino lambs at $240, while J Shaddock, Ouyen, sold 28 at $220, F&L Latta, Walpeup, Vic, sold 34 at $217, and J Hahnel Noms, Timberoo, had 49 make $215.
In the Dorper lambs, Manfred Station, Ivanhoe, NSW, sold 185 at $211, W Small, Lameroo, sold 68 at $206.
Mutton ranged from $6.50-$7.20/kg, with G&D Brown, Underbool, making $281 for 87, and J&R Scott, Timberoo, Vic, sold 31 at $245.
