"One of our well known and highly regarded products is Magforce," a company spokesman said.
"It is a high magnesium product designed for sheep and lambs, particularly in the last trimester of pregnancy and into lactation.
"Magforce is a very versatile product and has great effect in times of Magnesium shortfalls, particularly in times of Grass Tetany.
"Elevated levels of Zinc, Vitamin E and Calcium all add up to a beneficial product that is relied on by an ever increasing Australian farmer base.
"It is not only about Magnesium, but a host of nutrients critical to ease of lambing and excellent lamb survival rates.
"Often Calcium and Magnesium are the two 'in demand' nutrients in less available amounts to the lactating ewe during the critical last trimester of pregnancy.
"Smooth muscle function also relies heavily on these key elements along with high levels of Vitamin E, a very potent antioxidant.
"Coupled with Selenium, it adds to the animal's smooth muscle capabilities and a lowering of retained placenta.
"Magforce contains a high quality soluble carbohydrate source that compliments Magnesium uptake by the animal.
"Carbohydrates are required at specific levels to aid Magnesium metabolism."
Smooth muscle function is the most discussed part of lambing and whether the ewe is lambing in the correct time frame.
Vitamin E, A and Selenium along with Manganese are critical nutrients during late gestation and lactation.
Low levels of these nutrients are associated with poor reproductive performance.
"Vitamin B1 (Thiamine) is a standard addition to Magforce as an essential ingredient that is used as an aid in reducing any instance of PEM," the company spokesman said.
"B1 is also a specific nutrient used for carbohydrate metabolism.
"With today's growing supplementary feeding of cereal grains during lambing and lactation, Magforce also contains a starch digesting enzyme that aids in the animal's utilisation of starch.
"Magforce, a great all round product for sheep and lambs and is gaining a wonderful and deserved reputation as an essential supplement for a wide range of conditions."
