Dairy Australia's Cows Create Careers program is set to be delivered via an online hub this school term, giving school students the opportunity to explore diary industry careers in the virtual classroom.
Participating students will travel on an online journey through Willbrae Farm where they will be introduced to two dairy calves, 'Bright' and 'Future', and, across five weeks, will learn about calf care through a series of engaging videos.
Students will also learn about the environment, technology and machinery used on farm through a number of activities and competitions.
The online hub offers various curriculum options, including 'Normal', 'Reduced' and Easy to Implement', allowing schools to choose the most suitable option for their requirements.
Dairy Australia's Sally Roberts said the 2020 online version of CCC will continue to shine a light on the diversity of careers within Australia's dairy industry.

"CCC allows students and teachers to learn about the different skills and capabilities required for a career in the dairy industry in a fun and hands-on way and this year will be no different," Ms Roberts said.
"The benefits of the program extend well beyond the classroom; it supports links between students, teachers and the dairy community.
"CCCrs showcases the wide-range of education and career pathways within the industry and the skills and capabilities required. The program's new online hub will continue to deliver these benefits through fun and interactive activities," she said.

Ms Roberts said dairy industry volunteers from a wide range of dairy careers would be available to connect to the schools throughout the online program.
"Volunteers represent a wide-range of professional dairy careers. They speak to the students and teachers about their experiences in the industry, support students in career decision making, and have important links to dairy, education and employment sectors," she said.
CCC launched with nine schools in Victoria in 2004, and has grown considerably, with 110 schools across SA, Vic, WA and NSW set to complete the program this term.
