Crossbred lambs to $275
Merinos to $228
CROSSBRED lambs reached a high of $275 on Thursday at an Ouyen, Vic, market, which had prices generally softer than the previous sale.
Lacking the usual field of buyers, most lots sold about $20 cheaper.
Export lambs sold from $194 to $275, or $6.70 a kilogram to $7.70/kg, trade types made $160-$200 or $7.20-$8.40/kg, and store lambs received $80-$175 or $8-$9.40/kg.
P&B O'Brien, Speed, Vic, topped the sale with a run of 91, while another 53 crossbred lambs from their offering made $253.
G&L Bate, Mildura, Vic, sold 150 crossbred lambs at $266, while N Hamilton, Ouyen, offered 58 crossbred lambs, which sold at the same price.
W Schultz, Mittyack, Vic, sold 38 crossbred lambs at $263, Cureton Pastoral, Mildura, made $258 for a run of 85 crossbred lambs and T&S Monaghan, Tempy, Vic, sold 38 crossbred lambs for $256.

T&Z Monaghan, Gama, Vic, sold 46 crossbred lambs at $256. MG Lynch, Morkalla, Vic, offered 89 crossbred lambs, making $255 while N&B Templeton, Chinkapook, Vic, sold 55 at $252.
J Hahnel Noms, Timberoo, Vic, made $250 for a run of 36 crossbred lambs. I&B Brown, Boinka, Vic, sold 129 crossbred lambs and made $248. M.U.T, Tempy, sold 122 crossbred lambs at $244 and G&B Plant, Manangatang, Vic, offered 70 crossbred lambs, which made $243.
M&H Brown, Underbool, Vic, sold 70 crossbred lambs at $243. D&J Goldsmith, Yarrara, Vic, sold a run of 142 crossbred lambs at $241, with another 114 sold at $237.
In the Merino offering, lighter types sold from $52-$156 or $7.40-$8/kg, while heavier types made $173-$228 or $7-$7.80/kg.
Andy Beelitz Family Trust, Parrakie, sold 53 Merino lambs at $228.
AK Schultz, Karoonda, offered a run of 151 Merino lambs, which made $227. D&L Traeger, Lameroo, sold 55 Merino lambs at $206.
M Burns, Tempy, sold 47 Merino lambs at $197, while J Shaddock, Ouyen, sold 41 at the same price.
Serenity Holdings, Meringur, Vic, offered 28 Dorper lambs, which made $180.
