Specifically designed for high horsepower tractors, a new range of hydraulically driven chaser bins are sure to have a fit for seeding rigs that aren't equipped with a PTO.
Dunstan principal Craig Miller said testing and adoption of the Hydraulic Drive chaser bins had been successful, so they would become a permanent part of the range.
Mr Miller said the adoption was facilitated by recent developments in hydraulic drive technology.
"We've had a lot of inquiries over the last few years from clients who've got a high horsepower articulated tractor that's not being used at harvest," he said.
"We made a decision to test a hydraulically powered bin over the 2019 harvest to ensure it was 100% ready for sale to our customers, and it's proven to be very successful.
"This also aligns with a move to larger bins to cater for larger capacity headers and the need for larger tractors to handle the mass of those bins."
Mr Miller said hydraulic bins also align with Dunstan's commitment to safety.
"The hydraulic drive removes the need for a PTO shaft - possibly the single most dangerous item on any machine," he said.
