FROM the South East Field Days, Broken Hill AgFair and Karoonda Farm Fair, to the SA Sheep Expo or Kapunda Farm 4x4 Outdoor Expo, there are so many events we were looking forward to that have had to be cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak.
To the Stock Journal team, these events represented something important - a chance to catch up with our readers, hear your feedback and gauge what matters to you most.
While some of us might yearn for it now, being in the office was never our favourite way to spend a working day. We love getting out on the road and inspecting your crops, chatting to you on the rails at a market, celebrating your sale results or learning with you at a grains or dairy workshop.
We'll miss that, but we know it won't be forever. If we all do our part and follow the government's advice, then we'll come out the other side and start to see a wonderful array of events in our regions again.
Until then, while you might not see us in your community, know that we are here.

There's no shortage of coronavirus stories being written every day, but we'll strive to cut through the information overload and show what it means for agriculture and how it impacts you - businesses, communities, healthcare services, markets and suppliers.
But while all this is going on, we know there still needs to be a 'business as usual' approach to many facets of your day-to-day life - livestock need feeding, troughs need checking and seeding plans need finalising. You can still turn to us for information on the latest price trends, innovations and advice from the livestock and cropping world.

There's so much in the world that looks different at the moment - normally clogged city streets are empty, there are police manning our borders and the sight of a plane in the sky seems oddly rare. You might also notice a few differences in the paper as well - fewer photos from events, less images of vendors watching their stock being sold or changes to the way National Livestock Reporting Service information is printed.
So please bear with us if things don't quite look the same as they have in the past. Each edition will still be packed with just as much relevant and important information as ever.
