IN THE past week, Australia has taken on serious steps to help control the spread of coronavirus across Australia.
Prime Minister Scott Morrison has announced bans on gatherings of more than 500 or 100 indoors, as well travel bans.
This has led to hundreds of events planned in the coming months, including the South East Field Days, AgFair and even the Royal Sydney Show being cancelled.
Many businesses have also chosen to have their employees work from home, to minimise contact.
To help protect the economy, the federal government has announced a $17 billion stimulus package.
