Landholders across the Murraylands and Mallee are encouraged to take advantage of discounted fox baits being made available at collection points through the two regions in the coming weeks.
The group baiting program, offered by Natural Resources SA Murray-Darling Basin, hopes a coordinated group approach, through bait provision, will lead to a significant reduction in fox numbers in the area.
Discounted baits can be collected at the following times and locations:
Thursday, February 13:
- 9-11am: Karoonda NRM Office or Cooke Plains Hall
- 1-3pm: Meningie Oval or Wanbi Hall
Tuesday, February 18
- 9-11am: Lameroo NRM Office
- 9-2pm: Cambrai NRM Office
- 1-3pm: Geranium Oval
Thursday, February 20
- 9-11am Nildottie Hall or Tailem Bend Football Oval
- 1-3pm Sherlock Hall or Wunkar Hall
Tuesday, February 25
- 9-11am: Pinnaroo Museum Car Park or Keyneton Town Hall
- 1-3pm: Palmer Oval
