It was a big day for beef enthusiasts with 20 Lower and Mid South East studs opening their gates for day three of Stock Journal Beef Week.
There was plenty of interest from across SA and into Vic and NSW from stud and commercial breeders, making selections ahead of the busy bull selling season and viewing cow herds.
Warrawindi Limousin stud, Penola, were among the stand out sellers with eight bulls for a $6000 average.

Across four days, 55 studs from across the state will participate in Beef Week, with a total of 13 breeds being showcased by producers.
The final day of Beef Week will be held in the Upper South East tomorrow.
