Beef cattle studs across the Mid North and Yorke Peninsula opened their gates to commercial and stud producers today, marking the start of Stock Journal Beef Week for 2020.
Studs from Winulta, Jamestown, Clare and Kapunda were part of the event, showcasing bulls, heifers, cows and steers.
Stud principals were pleased with the level of interest shown throughout the day, with genuine interest shown from clients, leading to a number of sales.
Many new faces made appearances at the studs, while repeat clients were also a strong buying force.

Across four days, 55 studs from across the state will participate in Beef Week, with a total of 13 breeds being showcased by producers.
The event moves into the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula and Riverland on Sunday, February 9, before heading to the Lower South East on Monday, February 10, and the Upper South East on Tuesday, February 11.
