In a first for the event, the Barossa Valley town of Tanunda played host to the start and finish of Stage 1 of this year's Tour Down Under.
Consisting of five laps of a 30-kilometre circuit throughout the Barossa Valley, the race got off to a sizzling start with Irishman Sam Bennett taking out the win.
