International Animal Health has released a biological control for grazing animals.

INTERNATIONAL Animal Health (IAH) is an Australian owned, family business situated at Huntingwood in Sydney and is a new supporter of Southern Beef Week 2020.

IAH has been in business for more than 30 years, manufacturing and marketing a range of animal health products including nutritional products, wormers, first aid, probiotics and grooming products.

IAH specialises in the research and development, manufacture and marketing of animal products for large animals and intensive industries.

Its areas of speciality include microbials, nutrition and parasitology.

"The company has released the world's first biological control for grazing animals in the form of BioWorma and Livamol with BioWorma," an IAH spokesman said.

"Both products are registered in Australia, New Zealand, USA and pending in Europe. Patent is pending.

"This is the result of more than 20 years of research and development in combining a nutritional and microbial solution, utilising a fungus, which is a natural biological control that captures, paralyses and consumes infective worm larvae (including resistant and multi-resistant) within the manure of grazing animals, effectively breaking the worm cycle.

"IAH welcomes the opportunity to be part of Southern Beef Week 2020."
