A FEAT of facial landscaping among some of the nation's leading seed stock producers has helped raise nearly $70,000 for men's health charities during Movember.
The Stud Mos group has almost 80 cattle and sheep stud breeders, stock agents, brokers and other people associated with the seedstock industry from across Australia, including seven based in SA.
The initiative was driven by studstocksales.com, and Vic-based agency GTSM.
As well as raising money individually, the group also held an auction on AuctionsPlus, which generated just shy of $30,000. Donated goods included genetics packages, clothing, a kelpie puppy, wine and food and accommodation vouchers.
Woodleigh Hills Hampshire Downs principal Simon Seppelt, Jamestown, said it was a great group to be involved with.
"There has been amazing uptake in the donations personally, but the results the auction generated were fantastic," he said.
