More than 600 people from throughout rural, regional and metropolitan SA converged on Jamestown earlier this month for the annual Ram and Ewe Ball.
Live music from The Incredibles and Basham Brothers, backed up by DJ Aikman, ensured the dance floor in The Big Shed was packed all night.
Credit goes to the group of young local people, who together as the Ram and Ewe Ball Committee, manage this extremely popular event.
The Ram and Ewe Ball began in 2007 by a group of young rural ambassadors, who were hoping to reduce social isolation by encouraging networking and providing an opportunity for people to meet in a rural location.
Funds raised from the ball are donated to community projects and charities.
