OUYEN Livestock Exchange, Vic, held its last sheep market for 2019, with modest yarding of 6278.
M&N Lynch, Kiamal, Vic, sold the top price crossbred sucker lambs - 32 at $169, while B&C Dixon, Euston, NSW, sold 50 at $155.
Overall no export lots were quoted, while trade lambs sold from $6.50 a kilogram to $7.30/kg, while store and lighter types made $50-$120 or $6.40-$9/kg.
Heavy mutton sold from $100-$180, or $4.80-$6/kg, while light mutton made $46-$96, or $5-$5.60/kg.
AJ, JC, JM&VJ Stone, Underbool, Vic sold 85 mutton at the $180 top, while Brown Ag, Underbool, sold 21 at $172.
Only lighter Merinos were quoted, making $6.50-$6.60/kg.
