THE Bark Hut White Suffolk and Composite stud at Parndana held its annual ram sale on Thursday last week.
Overall, 74 composite rams were offered, which averaged $1099, and 44 White Suffolks offered with an average of $949.
Bark Hut stud principal Andrew Bennett said this year's offerings were a well-grown and even line up of rams.
"As a prime lamb producer, it has kept our focus on producing rams that will achieve early maturing heavy weight lambs, that will finish under paddock condition with a strong emphasis on muscling," he said.
The Bott family, KI, were the top composite buyers with a bid of $2800.
Paul Bott manages the Woodlana property for Growth Farms.
The highest bidders on White Suffolks at $1800 were KI prime lamb producers DJ Willmott and J Boyle.

The sale attracted prime lamb producers from around KI and further afield.
The Campion family attended the sale having just sold their broadacre cropping property near Goondiwindi in northern NSW.
Nick Campion said he was looking to purchase a farm on KI, which was looking a lot greener than back home, and move into mixed farming.
"We are looking for an environment that is a lot cooler with a climatic pattern not so impacted on by climate change," he said.
Andrew and Bec Bennett thanked their repeat clients for the ongoing support as well as new clientele.
Elders auctioneer Tony Wetherall said the Bennetts continued to be very commercially focussed with both breeds.
"The depth and the quality of the line-up was exceptional and certainly noted," he said.
